Preety Otal, a native of Detroit who now calls Lansing home, is a yoga and fitness instructor celebrated for her powerful yet compassionate approach to slow-flow yoga and invigorating fitness classes. With a soothing baritone voice and an eclectic music playlist, Preety creates an atmosphere that inspires and motivates her students to push their boundaries while honoring their bodies.


Background and Training: Preety's journey into yoga and fitness began in childhood as a therapeutic practice, later rediscovered and embraced in her 20s. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Hilltop Yoga in Lansing, MI, in 2016, deepening her understanding of yoga's transformative power. Motivated by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Preety transitioned to teaching yoga and fitness full-time, finding fulfillment in guiding others on their wellness journeys.


Teaching Style and Approach: Known for her alignment-focused slow-burn vinyasa yoga, Preety also leads classes in HIIT, fitness, and swimming. She believes in the importance of balance and offers yin and restorative expressions to encourage softness and release. Emphasizing that yoga is a personal journey, Preety invites students to join her for an adventure of self-discovery and growth.
